What does a day in the life of you at SwipedOn look like? 

Usually my days kicks off with review of overnight support conversations over a coffee between 7:00am -7:30am. From there it's the commute to the office to update sales progress for the team and ensure we are tracking to target for the week/month. Then a mix starting/completing tasks around growing the business revenue and ensuring the sales and customer support teams have all the tools and resources they need to sell and support customers. Throw in a few sales and support operational meetings along with another coffee and some good food for lunch. Afternoons are typically reserved for finance related work with some focus on partnerships and resellers.

What do you like about working at SwipedOn?  

The passion of the people, the focus of being customer centric and our companies acknowledgement that we are not just here to work but also to enjoy life! SwipedOn has a great culture that encourages their team to ensure they're looking after themselves in and outside of work.

What do you particularly like about what we’re doing with SwipedOn?  

We've taken a very old solution in business (the paper visitor book) and looked to understand how we can bring this data to life. We've asked, what value can be gleamed from the paper book? By enabling this data that was previously sitting on paper to be viewed on any device with an internet connection we've empowered SMB's (small and medium size businesses) to redefine the way they greet and welcome guests at their front door. Now office and facilities managers have every piece of data on call whenever they need it. We're giving businesses a new way to ensure both their employees and their data are safe and managed securely and I think that's pretty awesome.

What three words would you use to describe your role? 

1. Fast
2. Changeable
3. Challenging

What is your SwipedOn screensaver? 

A photo of the beach I grew up at, Whangapoua.

What did you do in your previous working life? 

I led partnerships and retail divisions for some other great tech companies.

What do you do in your free time? 

Surf, fish, make hot sauce and cook! And pickle lemons...

What are three things still left on your bucket list? 

Build a great company.
