Inbound Sales Representative

As we scale to meet the demands of our thousands of customers and millions of end users, we're seeking a motivated inbound sales associate to join our team.

The inbound sales associate role is a key role at SwipedOn. As part of the sales team, you'll contribute to converting new leads into paying customers, help our existing paying customers roll out SwipedOn deeper into their business and offer technical product support to our customers as needed. This role will directly contribute to SwipedOn's growth in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, This role will be working collaboratively as part of the global team, based in our Tauranga offices.

A confident approach to sales and customer service and enjoy the challenge of working with a broad range of different customers to understand their business needs. You’ll be comfortable with selling SaaS in the SME market, managing conflict and developing a pipeline of customers to sell to on a monthly basis. Ideally, you’ll have a strong technical knowledge around SaaS products, Apple's iPad in business platform and have a confident ability to work across teams and with multiple customers at any given time of the month.

You are...

  • A recent graduate from University or have at least 1-2 year’s of proven experience in a sales environment, position or similar
  • Wanting to live in the Bay of Plenty Pursuing a carer in sales and business growth
  • Passionate about tech and enjoy finding ways to simplify the buying and selling process.
  • Confident in calling customers (warm leads and cold) and able to demonstrate software in person or online

You’ll be doing...

  • Calling new leads both warm and cold
  • Managing a pipeline of MQLs.
  • Connecting with new customers
  • Holding meetings over video calls
  • Running live demos, calling cold and warm leads
  • Provide sales information for leads visiting our website, or any other direct channel of communication
  • Supporting customer requests for technical support during trial periods
  • Analyse trends in customer issues and suggest improvements to processes, policies, and products
  • Maintain and keep an updated record of all customer activities in HubSpot on a daily basis.
  • Cover customer support duties from time to time or as needed

You'll have...

  • Ideally a university bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification or 1-2 years sales experience
  • A high level of English fluency, both spoken and written
  • Strong organisational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with evidence of previous customer service experience, sales experience and with SaaS sales experience is highly regarded
  • A willingness to accept and implement feedback as received
  • A flexible mindset, are resilient when facing rapid change and always welcome feedback
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Ability to manage conflict, proposition customers and say no, where appropriate
  • A can-do attitude and are not afraid to proposition customers

Reporting lines
The inbound sales and support associate role will report to the Sales lead

Hours of work
This is a full-time (40/hr week) position. The approximate work schedule is 8:00 AM NZST to 5:30 PM NZST, five days per week. Your schedule is subject to change based on business needs and may require you to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
