How to add another device to the account

The Business and Enterprise plans allow for unlimited devices to be connected to the account. Find out how to add another device below.

Have a new device that needs to be connected to the account? No problem! Simply follow the steps below to add a new device to the location.

Adding another device (single location)

  • Log into the SwipedOn web dashboard.

  • Navigate to the 'Locations & Devices' view. 

  • Click on the 'Add Device' button in the top right corner.

  • Enter the name of this device e.g. Front Lobby.

  • Click on the 'Add New Device' button to set the device and generate a unique ID.

Adding another device (multiple locations)

  • Navigate to the 'Locations & Devices' view.
  • Click on the 'Devices' tab at the top of the screen.
  • Then click on the 'Add Device' button located in the top right corner.
  • Enter the name of this device e.g. Front Lobby.
  • Select the location this device will be assigned to.
  • Click on the 'Add New Device' button to set the device and generate a unique ID.

Connecting the device:

Once the device has been created, a unique device ID will be generated to use to log into the SwipedOn app.
