Mondetta Clothing Inc. is a Canadian leisure and sportswear design and manufacturing company, best known for its world flag-themed apparel. Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Mondetta has four main divisions: Mondetta, Mondetta Originals, MPG, and Modern Ambition. Mondetta have been a SwipedOn customer since 2019.

Managing data privacy and automating the sign in process

Could you tell us a little about your previous visitor management process before implementing SwipedOn?

We had visitors physically sign a sign in sheet for each day and then gave them a guest badge for their visit.

What were the challenges your company faced which drove the need to replace your paper visitor book with a digital solution?

The old process was manual and cumbersome. We also needed the ability to print badges with guests' names and photos for CT-PAT compliance. CT-PAT stands for The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and is a voluntary supply-chain security program led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection focused on improving the security of private companies' supply chains.

What were your company’s highest priorities when you were looking for a visitor & employee management solution?

The highest priority for us was finding a system that could help us achieve CT-PAT Security compliance that was also simple for visitors and employees to use.

Why are these features important for your company?

We needed an easy way to manage visitors for security compliance purposes. At the same time, we implemented employee sign in/out and wanted this to be as easy as possible for employees so we could ensure our evacuation list was as accurate as possible in case of an emergency.

Managing a hybrid work model

When COVID-19 hit, did SwipedOn help your business remain operational?

We added some COVID related questions for visitors (have you been out of the country, symptoms, contact details, etc).

SwipedOn had the features we needed at the best price point vs the competitors at the time we were looking for a solution.

Has your workplace recently transitioned to a hybrid or flexible approach? Are there any SwipedOn features that help with this?

We recently implemented employee sign in to help us know where all employees are in the event of an evacuation.

We have been hybrid since COVID so an accurate list is important for us to have. It's great that employees can easily sign in remotely using the SwipedOn Pocket app.
