Digital Marketing Specialist

We have an amazing opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our fast growing team in an exciting time of growth.  This is a new role that will dive into the data behind our marketing and sales teams and have a direct impact on our growth strategies.  We need someone who is data-driven, energetic, ready to analyse and optimise our marketing campaigns and sales funnels to accelerate our growth journey.

About the role...

You'll be working under the direction of the Head of Growth, owning the analytical space of our business to support the marketing and sales teams in driving growth.  Your responsibilities will include tracking online marketing trends, collecting and analysing marketing and sales data, developing campaign strategies, optimising sales funnel conversions and reporting on growth performance.  There will also be times where you will assist and support general marketing initiatives and collateral.  Things move fast in our business and we’re after people who are comfortable keeping up with the pace!

To be successful in this role, you should have strong technical skills and be able to present actionable insights to inform digital marketing and sales strategies.  You will need to have knowledge of digital marketing disciplines such as SEO, SEM, CRO, inbound marketing, keyword research, social media marketing, mobile marketing, email marketing and more.

We’re looking for someone with...

  • 2+ years’ relevant experience in a digital or marketing function or marketing agency with experience in data, analytics or insights.
  • Experience working across at least 2 relevant areas: digital analytics, marketing analytics, analytics development, data development, CRO, reporting, data visualisation, insight delivery.
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing across paid search, social, display and programmatic platforms, SEO, SEM and CRO.
  • Experience with analytical and reporting tools, including Google Analytics, AdWords, Data Studio or at least one analytics vendor (certification a bonus).
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and easily communicate them.
  • Experience using/managing a CMS would be a bonus.

Hours & place of work

Full time role, generally between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday, but some flexibility may be required.  This role is based in our Tauranga office in the CBD with amazing waterfront views.
