Quick Questions with Heather: Customer Support
Keeping our customers happy is her main priority, when sheโs not busy answering support requests and solving potential issues you can find her socializing with friends and family over dinner and the odd drink ๐น or hitting up the hottest festivals ๐ซ We caught up with our UK based Customer Support Representative Heather to find out what makes her tick and what she enjoys about life at SwipedOn.
What does a day in the life of you at SwipedOn look like?
What do you like about working at SwipedOn?
My job offers a wide variety of opportunities. I worked in the sales team for a short time, now I am in support! Although I am based in another country and different time zone, everyone is so helpful and friendly, which is great. What do you particularly like about what weโre doing with SwipedOn?
We take customer feedback seriously! As a customer when you get told "thank you for your product feedback, we will pass this onto the product team to review" if you're like me you think "yeah ok! I will never hear from you again". That's not the case at SwipedOn. We look at all product enhancement requests and, more often than not, add the feature customers request. The product wouldn't be the success it is today without our customer feedback.
I also love that a tree is planted for every new customer, it's our way of giving back to the planet. ๐

I'm sad to say, just the Windows Screen saver ๐
What did you do in your previous working life?
I worked previously for a software company that developed add-ons for Sage 200 Accounting Software, where I managed a project team.
What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy socializing with family and friends, going out for dinner, holidays, summer festivals, and shopping.
What about Zumba... Kelly mentioned you have some great skills there, can you tell us more about that?
Oh, did she?! Well, due to lockdown and the fact it's winter here in the United Kingdom, I bought a Nintendo Switch and then bought Zumba, so during my break in the day I do a bit of Zumba. It's a bit of a running joke between Kelly and me, as I'm not too great at it at the moment! I'm that bad that I close my curtains so my neighbours don't see me ๐
What are three things still left on your bucket list?

2. Holiday in the Maldives ๐ด

Whatโs on your SwipedOn playlist?
When I am working in the office we usually have the radio on (BBC Radio 2 - not my choice!). When I am home its anything from cheesy 90's pop, rock and drum and bass.
If you were stuck on a desert island and you could choose one person from the SwipedOn team to come with you, who would you take and why?
As I haven't met the majority of my colleagues from NZ or the US it would have to be Kelly, one of our Sales Executives in the UK. She's into exercising and goes to the gym every day! So my thinking is that she will have lots of energy to find us food. ๐
Let's end this with a weird fact about you...
I met Keith Flint from The Prodigy once in a local restaurant after enjoying a Sunday roast dinner with friends. He was really friendly!
