Oh and one of our full stack developers. We caught up with De Wet to find out what a day in the life is like at SwipedOn.
What does a day in the life of you at SwipedOn look like?
What do you like about working at SwipedOn?
The great bunch of people, so there's never a dull moment. It's a company that knows that life happens and is always flexible and supportive. I always feel challenged in my work and there's so much opportunity to get exposure to a number of technologies to keep the gears running. Have I mentioned the great view? ๐What do you particularly like about what weโre doing with SwipedOn?
I like how the teams get everyone involved in brain storming ideas to grow the product and provide the best features to all the existing and new clients.

What is your SwipedOn screensaver?
Batman sitting on a park bench feeding bats... ๐ฆธโโ๏ธ ๐ฆ
What did you do in your previous working life?
Developed health management applications in South Africa, then moved to Wellington where I worked on a tax revenue management system for clients in the Pacific islands.
What do you do in your free time?
Mostly build pizzas with Play-doh and get the "Braai" going!
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
1. Own a jetski
2. Have a coffee with the sketch comedian group Aunty Donna
3. Tour Scotland
Whatโs on your SwipedOn playlist?
I like a variety of metal and rock but mostly let YouTube Music shuffle and surprise me.
If you were stuck on a desert island and you could choose one person from the SwipedOn team to come with you, who would you take and why?
Jason S. I feel that we will constantly challenge each other to out last and survive one another. That, and his fashionable red shorts might make a great flag when signalling for help ๐ฉ๐
